Happy Birthday Abby! You should make some goals for yourself so you don't wasted your time. Write down everything you want out of life and prioritize it. Decide how to get to the places you want to go. And I don't just mean going physical places. You need to work hard in school so you can go to college next year. Its very important. I know it just sounds like I am just saying what everyone else is saying but it really is. Pray to God and keep reading your Bible just like you are and you will be on the right path. Take to heart what it says about the sluggard. Be sure you aren't one!!! Never loose your integrity. Its the one thing that will set you apart from the rest. Don't do things that you will regret later. Think before you do something, Am I going to be able to tell my kids about this? What you do does matter. Its your life, do with it what you want. Be sure that what you want is worthwhile. One of my desires is to do something important. Something that will change society for the better. I certainly hope you have the same desire. It might not be apparent right now but life changes when you turn 18. You become responsible for yourself. You can't just brush off things like you used to. People will expect something from you. You can't get away with the same things you can when you are a kid. You need to accept this responsibility and work hard. There aren't any shortcuts. And if anyone tells you there are don't believe them. Pick your battles You won't always succeed. Most of the time you won't, but you just keep going. Keep trying As long as you are breathing they haven't won. Make sure the things you do live on past your life here on earth so even when you stop breathing you will still have won! Keep fighting Don't quit, unless its something bad like smoking. Education is very important, so is hard work and endurance. Most of all remember your family. Your friends might leave you but your family won't. |
